I was a child of the eighties, and grew up with Michael J. Fox. I wanted to be Alex P. Keaton. I wanted to go to school with a briefcase. He was a short kid, and wanted to change the world. It resonated with the character and the actor. As Michael J. Fox's career grew with films like Back To The Future and Teen Wolf, I've lost track of how many times I watched them over the years. These are timeless and it is wonderful to introduce these movies to my own children.
I recently viewed his interview prior to the release of 'Still' An Apple Original Film coming to Apple TV+ that follows the life of beloved actor and advocate Michael J. Fox, exploring his personal and professional triumphs and travails, and what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease.
Watching the interview, and listening to Michael, it made me sad, almost to tears, to see how Parkinson's has taken a toll on him. But it made me so happy to see his unbreakable spirit, humor, and gratitude he had for his life and his loving family!
